Effective date: 18 April 2026
By using Party Blast ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service. Your use of personal data is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Party Blast is a free browser-based multiplayer party game run as a hobby project by Miles Cuthbert. It is not a commercial service. Features may change, break, or go away with no notice, and we may pause or shut down the Service at any time.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or 16, or whatever minimum age applies in your country). If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
There is no account. You identify yourself by a display name you choose at the home screen and a random player ID stored in your browser. You are responsible for anything done from your device using your display name.
When using Party Blast, do not:
We may block, remove, or otherwise restrict access for anyone breaking these rules, with no refund and no prior notice.
You are responsible for the display name, chat messages, drawings, and votes you enter. By entering them you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content to other players in your room for the duration of the game, and to store derived data (for example, scores) in our database.
We don't actively moderate content. Other players in your room will see everything you enter in real time, so please behave accordingly.
The Party Blast source code, design, and original content are owned by Miles Cuthbert or our licensors, except where third-party open source components apply under their own licences. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.
Several games draw from generic public formats (trivia, anagrams, would-you-rather). Those formats themselves are not our property.
Party Blast depends on third parties including Cloudflare (hosting and DNS), Supabase (database), Google Fonts (fonts), jsdelivr (CDN), and api.qrserver.com (QR codes). Those services have their own terms and outages. We aren't responsible for anything those third parties do or fail to do.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, bug-free, or that scores, leaderboards, or room data will be preserved. Save your bragging rights elsewhere.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including lost scores, lost leaderboard entries, or any harm from content other players submit. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed £10 or the minimum non-excludable amount under applicable law.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
We may add, change, or remove features at any time, including entire games, the leaderboard, and the Service itself. We may also delete rooms, stale data, or leaderboard entries to keep the Service running.
You can stop using the Service at any time by closing the browser tab. You can also ask us to delete your leaderboard entry (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these terms or for any reason that is reasonable in context.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you have non-waivable consumer rights to sue in your home country.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
